The Smith D-Contact Type-II is a specially weighted variant of the classic D-Contact, designed to provoke strikes from lethargic trout. Featuring a center-balance design, it achieves a horizontal, fluttering fall that triggers feeding responses even in tough conditions. Revived in 2025 due to popular demand, it retains the proven color lineup of the original D-Contact Aki.
